RC Art Fair is an independent international art fair happening from 7th till 11th of February 2018 in the World Trade Center during Art Rotterdam Week, the largest art week in the Netherlands.  For the 7th edition of the fair the organisation is proud to announce the NO WALLS expo section, an exhibition representing variety of sculptural, installation, light and video artworks without the supporting framework of the walls.

The goals of the exhibition are to produce a refreshed art platform within the city during the Art Rotterdam Week, to bring awareness of the 3D works that normally would not fit in the concept of a white cube, to leave open discussion space for visitors to contemplate and reflect upon the presented show, to strengthen, network and highlight participating artists, curators, art professionals, and to promote and internationalise art event itself. We would like to encourage young and up-coming individuals as well as others to apply and share their views upon the selected theme of black box.

This section of open call is a newly established part of the fair, promoting and networking various creators in the field of art to come together and share their passion. We are thrilled to present this open call and look forward for all the sent applications!
